SUMMARY:REGENEROUS RETREAT
DESCRIPTION:Regenerous is a workshop experience that will help the participant to evaluate their initial call to service. This will involve looking at their early life experiences in their families of origin\, their friendships\, and their early education. They will identify individuals who were great role-models\, supporters\, and mentors for their journey into the healing arts. They will explore and share with others the trajectory of their careers\, their aspirations\, successes\, disappointments\, and unfinished business. They will find avenues to reconnect with their initial passions toward service\, and to foster a re-awakening of these passions contemporarily. They will examine issues and circumstances in their present lives that interfere with the full experience of joy in the service of others\, and find ways to support themselves\, and each other\, as they find their way back to these initial passions\, as well as newly evolving ones. \nWe will utilize didactics guided imagery\, art\, music\, storytelling\, poetry\, scripture\, movement\, journaling\, quiet time/meditations\, and other modalities.

Eagan\, MD \nHe is a prominent Beverly Hills psychiatrist\, Senior Fellow of The Meadows\,\nand founder and CEO of Eagan Medical Group\, LLC.\, a thriving mental health practice treating over 2000 patients annually. His private patients have included leaders in industry\, politics\, and performers from television\, music\, and lm\, \n\n\n\n\nmany of whom have been at the extremes of celebrity. Dr. Eagan is an expert in the complexities\nof mental health and addiction treatment\, and he specializes in effective treatment regimens for\nall types of emotional distress that often can arise from being in positions of responsibility and\npublic attention. His range of specialties includes primary psychiatric conditions\, eating disorders\, substance-abuse disorders\, impulse control disorders\, trauma & abuse\, human sexuality and spiritual therapy. Dr. Eagan’s treatment approach incorporates pharmacologic interventions with evidence- based cognitive behavioral therapies\, adjunctive modalities\, and traditional spiritual practices. He is the author of Prayer for Compassion: My Journey Through Compassion-Fatigue. \nCompassion Fatigue is a condition characterized by a gradual lessening of compassion over time increasingly experienced by individuals that work directly with those suffering from trauma.
